Shenzhen Liuxiandong Headquarters Base No.1 Housing Block

As the pioneer city of the special economic zone in China, Shenzhen is the most open metropolis in the mainland of China and the new immigrants are the majority of the citizens. Openess of the urban space becomes the spatial feature of Liuxiandong Block. Smart city is based on equipotent networks. Intelligent systems scatter all over between the buildings and the new block consists of different platforms which are entitative, virtual, ministrant, productive, ecological and intelligent. The flowing sunshine, fresh air and the citizens will make the new block full of vitality The Super- complex is designed to be the future center of Liuxiandong Block which will become an attractive focus point. It will be a vertical city including public, semi-public, private spaces and public infrastructure. It will offer the new “engine” for the city, stimulate the culture, economics and society of the city and thus create the aggregation effect. The façade of the building is designed according to passive energy saving, its surface form comes from the parametric design balancing the sunshine light in summer and winter to save energy that makes the building have the form character of Smart City meanwhile.
